Probably ebay or GSF, or ask here, just make sure you buy post-June '94 ones as I believe the S1s won't fit on the S2 (your car).

Hi georg
XM headlights keep being offered on ebay. I think that you can interchange Mk1 and Mk2 ones as Citroen only changed the design for LH drive cars. Watch out for tarnished reflectors and broken mounting lugs. Do not even bother to ask the price of new ones unless you want to spend £250 plus vat on a pair. I gather that it is possible to clean faded (i.e. dirty) reflectors with Isopropinol (?) alcohol on cotton wool (with a VERY soft touch). The lens is, of course, removable, and replaceable at about 25% of the new headlamp cost. Even a headlamp with broken brackets can supply a replacement glass very often.

Hi Techmanagain
Did not realise it was possible to buy new reflectors on their own. Do you have a source or price? XMexc -------------------- An interest in 2.5TD's.

Sorry, but it is only possible to buy new LENSES on their own. You can experiment with cleaning the reflectors as suggested in any S/H lamp you can find or buy.

Hi Georg
I have a pair of headlights from my 1995 XM Estate. They are in perfect condition. I bought the car from UK but as I live in France, I had to change them for LHD lights. I have no idea as to value or postage. Will be in England for Christmas going to Brighton, Aldershot and Barnstable if that is any help. Regards Sean -------------------- '95 XM SX Estate RP 6610
